Please recommend me good underrated anime. I miss the years past where i would binge on anime. I really want to find those hidden gems again. The ones that aren't too popular to have an ugly mainstream appeal, but also not too unknown by being too shitty. I really like realistic anime with good characters, no magic shit please.

If it has a anime it's probably has mainstream appeal.

Just read manga

>realistic, no magic shit, etc.

Read Kaiji, Saikyou Densetsu Kurosawa and Ressentiment.

>Read Kaiji
lol wtf i read the post above yours and then thought of kaiji and then when i look down the first thing i see is "read kaiji"

Mr. Tonegawa: Middle Management Blues.

It isn't that well known and is also realistic in its plot (no shounen shit).

I'll check it out. Also, feel free to recommend any good hentai anime.

It isn't really realistic or anything but I recently watched Kubukiri Cycle and liked it. I'd recommend it if you haven't already seen it.

I forgot about that spinoff. Much different in tone to Kaiji, but still decent.

Just wondering, did the screencaps I posted inspire you to watch it? Or did you have a different reason? It's kind of an obscure show, so I'm curious about what motivated you to choose it.

Have you seen Monogatari? If so, how did it compare?

Haibane Renmei, very comfy.

I found out about it through a youtube video about the monogatari series.

I like monogatari more than the kubukiri cycle but it was pretty good as well.
